General Questions

For your first visit, please arrive 10 minutes early to complete a brief consultation form. Bring a valid photo ID and arrive with a clean face (no makeup if possible for facial treatments). If you're considering injectable treatments, please bring a list of any medications, supplements, or allergies. We recommend avoiding blood thinners (including aspirin and fish oil) for 48 hours before injectable treatments.

Yes, we strongly recommend booking in advance as our appointment schedule can fill up quickly, especially for popular treatments and weekend slots. You can book online through our Square booking page, text us at 0405 340 655, or send us a message through the Contact page. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability, but cannot be guaranteed.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), EFTPOS, and cash. We also support Afterpay and Zip Pay for interest-free instalment plans on treatments over $200. Payment is due at the time of service unless a package or membership arrangement has been made.

We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. You can do this by texting 0405 340 655 or replying to your booking confirmation. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a fee of 50% of the treatment cost. No-shows will be charged the full treatment fee.

Yes, there is street parking available on Belmore Street and surrounding roads. There is also a public car park within a 2-minute walk from our clinic at Burwood Plaza. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to allow time for parking, especially during peak hours.

Facial Treatments

For maintenance facials like Hydrafacial or Oxygen Glass Skin, we recommend every 4-6 weeks to align with your skin's natural renewal cycle. For targeted treatments like acne control or pigmentation, a course of 4-6 sessions spaced 2 weeks apart may be recommended. During your consultation, our team will create a personalised treatment plan based on your skin concerns and goals.

Most of our facial treatments have minimal to no downtime. You may experience slight redness immediately after treatments like Hydrafacial or chemical peels, which typically subsides within a few hours. More intensive treatments like Fotona laser or microneedling may cause redness for 1-3 days. We'll provide specific aftercare instructions for your treatment.

We recommend avoiding makeup for at least 6-12 hours after a facial treatment to allow your skin to fully absorb the benefits and breathe. If you must wear makeup, use mineral-based, non-comedogenic products. We'll advise you specifically based on your treatment type.

Cosmetic Injectables

All injectable treatments at Three Sisters Beauty are performed exclusively by our AHPRA-registered nurse, Kathleen Ouyang, who has over 10 years of experience in cosmetic injections. She holds full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and maintains ongoing professional development in cosmetic medicine.

Most clients describe the sensation as a brief pinch or mild discomfort. We use several techniques to minimise discomfort, including topical numbing cream, ice packs, and products that contain local anaesthetic. The treatment itself typically takes only 15-30 minutes. Most clients find the experience much more comfortable than expected.

Recovery is typically minimal. You may experience slight swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites, which usually resolves within 24-72 hours. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise, excessive heat (saunas, hot yoga), and alcohol for 24 hours after treatment. Most clients return to their normal activities immediately or the next day.

Results vary depending on the treatment type and individual factors. Anti-wrinkle injections typically last 3-4 months. Dermal fillers can last 6-18 months depending on the area treated and the product used. During your consultation, Kathleen will discuss expected longevity based on your specific treatment plan.

As with any medical procedure, there are potential side effects including temporary swelling, redness, bruising, and tenderness at the injection site. Serious complications are extremely rare when treatment is performed by a qualified registered nurse. During your consultation, all potential risks and side effects will be thoroughly discussed, and you'll have the opportunity to ask any questions before proceeding.

Laser Hair Removal

Most clients require 6-8 sessions for optimal results, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. The exact number depends on the treatment area, hair colour, hair thickness, and individual hair growth cycles. Darker, coarser hair typically responds faster. During your consultation, we'll assess your specific needs and provide a recommended treatment plan.

Laser hair removal provides long-term hair reduction rather than complete permanent removal. Most clients experience 80-90% hair reduction after a complete course of treatments. Remaining hair is typically finer and lighter. Some maintenance sessions once or twice a year may be recommended to maintain optimal results.

Before treatment: avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks, don't wax or pluck hair for 4 weeks (shaving is fine), and avoid self-tanning products. After treatment: avoid hot showers, saunas, and strenuous exercise for 24 hours; apply soothing aloe vera if needed; avoid sun exposure and use SPF 50+ sunscreen; and do not wax or pluck between sessions.
